Being convinced that it is necessary and productive to spread the corporate culture in the territory where it operates, Sonzogni Camme has accepted the invitation of the “Comitato Piccola Industria” of the Association “Confindustria Bergamo” and on the 14th of November 2014 it has taken part in the fifth edition of the PMI DAY, opening its doors to two classes of students in the eighth grade (middle class).
This initiative was an important opportunity to allow the schools and the inhabitants of the surrounding municipalities to understand the economic reality of our company. We also provided educational guidance to middle class students, having the difficult task to choose the most suitable secondary school, that will train them to the labour market, even involving teachers that, together with the parents, are the main mentors, when it comes the time for the students to choose the secondary school.
During the visit to our company the students had above all the possibility to come into direct contact with our enterprise; they had the chance not only to see the company structures, but also to get in touch with the tools that are used daily to carry out the various business activities and with the production cycle.
The company was presented during its operating activities, with the help of some employees giving their contribution to show the different working processes until the finished product, trying this way to attract the students’ attention and interest.
The participation to the “PMI DAY 2014” was awarded during the Annual Meeting “Piccola Industria” that was held in Bergamo on Thursday, the 16th of April 2015.
During the ceremony to award attendance certificates our CEO Mr Guerrero received the attendance certificate consigned by the President of the “Piccola Industria di Bergamo”, Mr Losma and by the President of the “Piccola Industria Nazionale”, Alberto Baban.
With this gesture, they wanted to thank the companies of the territory that have showed interest and sense of belonging, contributing to spread the corporate culture.
